Individual or Team Requirements
Participants must be currently enrolled high school students. Students may register individually or as a team. Teams are recommended to include 1-3 students, with a designated team leader, clear member responsibilities, and advisor information. Cross-school teams should obtain confirmation from each student's school or guardian.
Project Material Checklist
Required materials include the registration form, project abstract, project proposal or research report, presentation poster, defense slides, student identification, advisor information, and parent or school informed consent materials.
Registration and Submission Steps
Teams should first complete online registration, then submit abstracts and project materials as instructed. After format review by the organizing committee, projects enter preliminary review. Shortlisted teams will then provide on-site presentation, defense, and payment confirmation information.
Preliminary Review and On-site Defense
The preliminary review focuses on the scientific question, originality, research design, data or experimental evidence, and presentation standards. Shortlisted teams will present posters or give oral defenses during the conference, with final evaluation by expert judges.
AI Tool Use Guidelines
AI tools may be used reasonably for literature search, language polishing, coding assistance, and figure organization, but the scope of use must be disclosed in the materials. Research hypotheses, core analysis, data authenticity, and final conclusions remain the responsibility of the student team.
Academic Integrity and Biosafety
All projects must be original and must not involve plagiarism, fabricated data, or improper ghostwriting. Projects involving biological samples, laboratory animals, clinical data, personal privacy, or potential biosafety risks must comply with school, laboratory, and applicable regulatory requirements.
Parent or School Informed Consent
Minor participants must obtain informed consent from a parent or guardian. Projects involving on-campus experiments, external mentors, or team travel should also obtain confirmation from the school or advisor.
Registration and Payment
Shortlisted teams must complete registration and payment according to conference notices. Fee standards, discount policies, payment methods, and refund rules are subject to official conference notices. Teams that do not confirm on time may have their presentation slots transferred to waitlisted teams.
